Dear President,

The Organising Committee of Festival
Internazionale Verona Garda Estate has decided to invite your interesting choir at the Festival in
2022!

The Festival will take place
in the provinces of Verona
(www.tourism.verona.it), Mantova (www.turismo.mantova.it), Vicenza (www.vicenza.org), Brescia
(www.comune.brescia.it)    and cities near  Lake Garda
(www.gardaweb.com )  from June 23th to
July 11th 2022.

The Festival is divided in three
sessions:

First session:             
June 23th, 24th, 25th,
26th, 27th
Second session:         
June 30th, July 1st, 2nd,
3rd, 4th
Third session:            
July 7th, 8th, 9th,
10th, 11th

 

Each choir can choose the session in which
it participates.

Each session can host up to 10
choirs.

The participant choirs will
perform 4 concerts or
liturgical singing followed by a short concert, one performance per day, in
different cities (the concert will be mostly performed in churches,
but also in theaters or squares suitable for choral
concerts).

Each concert will be performed
by 2 choirs (sometimes 3 or 4). If possible, every night the couples of
choirs will change, according to their typology.

Each choir will, depending on
the number of choirs participating at the concert, perform for about 20-30
minutes for a free preferably a cappella program either profane or sacral
depending of the place of the concert (there are no electronic instruments
permitted except keyboard). The duration of the program depends on the
number of participating choirs at the concert.

In case of a mass, there will be two choirs
performing.

At the end of each concert or
mass all participating choirs will sing together Ode an die Freude of Ludwig van
Beethoven and Signore delle
Cime of Bepi de Marzi. The respective scores of the two simple
compositions will be sent to each choir well in advance.

 

Excursions in the region will be organized according
to the schedule below.

Thursday (first
day)

Choirs arrive in Verona
in the afternoon (it is recommended before 3pm).

Somebody of our organization will be welcoming you in
your hotel.

At 5.30pm: opening ceremony of the
festival. Dinner for all the participating choirs. 

The directors and
presidents of each choir will be presented.

During the dinner
every choir is asked to sing one short welcoming song

in case you arrive with your own bus, the bus driver have to pay 350€

This fee includes:

Registration fee

·      
Accommodation in 3 or 4 star hotels in
the surrounding of Verona. This offer includes two singles without single
supplement for every choir and the requested number of doubles and
triples.

full board treatment* as scheduled in the
general program (including drinks during the meals)
*for lunch are provided light

·      
For the whole period of the festival, you will be
accompanied by one of our assistants

The travel expenses and all movements as scheduled in
the program (concerts and visits in cities) are not included and are at
your expense.

 

If you arrive by plane or train and not with your own
bus, our organization is pleased to arrange on behalf of your choir a
coach for a very reasonable price. The coach will be at your disposal
covering all the movements mentioned in the Festival program including
also your transfer from and to the airport or train station.

 

N.B.:   Each year many choirs chose to extend their stay in Italy
for some days either before
or after the festival in order to accept one of the
following proposals:

·      
Possibility to sing in Saint
Mark’s Basilica or dei Frari in
Venice (4 sacred songs)

·      
visit the Veneto and the surrounding
regions with its fascinating cities (Venice, Padova,
Mantova, Ferrara, etc.). Possibility of guided tours (for reservation
and fees please consult us)

·      
attend an opera in the
Arena in Verona.

·      
visit one of the numerous wine
cellars in the region and taste some quality wine.

 

If you decide to stay a few extra days we
are happy to book for you, at your expense, the same hotel as for your
festival period and also organize all your excursions with a wonderful
program that has been appreciated every year from choirs who have stayed
in Italy.

 

Please note also
that the organization will provide an assistant to go with you also during
your extra days in Italy if required.

La
Commissione  Organizzatrice del Festival Internazionale Verona Garda
Estate ha deciso di invitare il tuo Coro  al Festival
per il 2022!

Il Festival si
svolge nelle province di Verona (www.tourism.verona.it ), Mantova (www.turismo.mantova.it ),  Vicenza  (www.vicenza.org ),
Brescia (www.comune.brescia.it)   e sul Lago di Garda (www.gardaweb.com ) dal 23 giugno all’11 luglio  2022.

Il
Festival è diviso in tre sessioni:

Prima
sessione: 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 Giugno (giovedì, venerdì, sabato, domenica,
lunedì).
Seconda
sessione: 30 Giugno, 1, 2, 3, 4 Luglio (giovedì, venerdì, sabato,
domenica, lunedì).
Terza
sessione: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Luglio (giovedì, venerdì, sabato, domenica,
lunedì).

 

Ogni coro può
scegliere a quale sessione partecipare.

Ogni sessione
del Festival accoglie fino a 10 cori.

I Cori
partecipanti terranno
4 concerti o animazioni liturgiche seguite da
un breve concerto, uno ogni giorno, in città diverse (i
concerti saranno principalmente in chiese, ma 
potranno  essere  anche  in  teatri o  piazze
adatte  ai  concerti  corali).

Ogni concerto
sarà tenuto da 2 cori (a volte 3-4).  Ogni sera, compatibilmente
con la tipologia dei cori presenti, cambieranno le coppie dei
cori.

Ogni coro avrà
a disposizione 20-30 minuti per un programma di libera scelta
(religioso e profano, a seconda del luogo), preferibilmente a cappella
(non sono ammesse strumenti elettrici ad eccezione della tastiera). La
durata del programma dipende dal numero dei cori presenti.

L’animazione
della Messa sarà normalmente eseguita da 2 cori.

A tutti  i 
cori  verranno  inviate per  tempo  le 
partiture  di  2  semplici  composizioni 
che  verranno  eseguite  a cori  uniti  alla fine
di  ogni concerto e di 
ogni  messa, Ode an
die Freude di Ludwig van Beethoven e Signore delle
Cime di 
Bepi de Marzi.

 

 

Per tutta la
durata del vostro soggiorno saranno organizzate escursioni sul territorio
come da programma qui sotto riportato.

1° giorno:
Giovedì

In giornata
arrivo dei cori  a Verona (si raccomanda di
arrivare entro le ore 15)

accompagnatore ad attendervi in hotel

Festival, cena di benvenuto ai cori, presentazione dei Presidenti e dei
Direttori di ogni coro

Durante la cena ogni coro
eseguirà un breve canto in segno di  presentazione-saluto

Quote
individuali di partecipazione

Corista, presidente e direttore e, se presente,
l’autista del pullman proprio, pagheranno 350€.

Gli accompagnatori pagheranno 450€.

 

Le quote comprendono:

·      
Tassa di iscrizione al Festival

·      
sistemazione in Hotel di categoria 3 stelle o
superiore nei dintorni di Verona (l’offerta  prevede camere  a 
due  e tre letti e  due camere a un letto senza
supplemento)

·      
trattamento di pensione completa* come previsto nel
programma generale (comprese bevande ai
pasti)

          
*A pranzo sono previsti
pasti leggeri

·      
Presenza di un accompagnatore per l’intero vostro
soggiorno

·      
Targhe di partecipazione al Festival

Piante topografiche delle città di Verona e Vicenza

 

A Vostro carico sono i costi  per il viaggio e per tutti i
movimenti previsti nel programma (concerti e  visite  alle
città).

Per i cori che non
arriveranno con pullman proprio ma in aereo o in treno, la
nostra Organizzazione può riservare per conto del coro un
Pullman Gran Turismo  ad  un prezzo di  assoluto favore, a
disposizione per tutti i movimenti previsti per il Festival e per tutte le
visite (transfert da e per l’aeroporto o la stazione, concerti, visite
alle città).

 

N.B: Ogni anno molti
cori chiedono di poter restare in Italia alcuni giorni prima o dopo il
Festival, accogliendo  le
seguenti proposte:

·      
possibilità di cantare nella Basilica di San Marco o dei
Frari
a Venezia (4 brani
sacri).

·      
poter visitare la  bella Regione del
Veneto e dintorni e le loro splendide città (Venezia, Padova,
Mantova, Ferrara
ecc.). Possibilità di prenotare una guida.

·      
assistere a un’Opera lirica
all’Arena di Verona.

·      
una visita in una delle  numerose
e caratteristiche Cantine e degustazione.

 

La nostra Organizzazione
sarà a vostra completa disposizione per organizzare ogni momento dei
vostri giorni extra.

Se vorrete
restare in Italia qualche giorno in più potremo prenotare per vostro conto
i giorni supplementari nello stesso hotel
e organizzare tutte le vostre escursioni secondo un collaudato
e splendido programma che ogni anno trova l’approvazione dei cori
ospiti del Festival.

 

Su richiesta possiamo mettervi a disposizione un
accompagnatore anche per i giorni extra.
